Anxiety Counseling

Anxiety

 Anxiety is a natural response to stress—but for many people, it can become overwhelming and interfere with daily life. If you’ve ever felt a racing heart, a sense of dread, or constant worry, you’re not alone. Millions of people experience anxiety every day. Whether you’re looking to understand your own experience, support someone else, or find practical tools, I am here to help. No shame. No judgment. Just guidance, community, and support.


                                                                               Symptoms of Anxiety Present as: 

  •  Panic, fear, and uneasiness; feelings of panic, doom, or danger
  • Sleep problems. 
  • Fidgetiness
  •  Physiological responses to the body such as cold, sweaty, numb, or tingling hands or feet.
  • Shortness of breath; hyperventilation
  • Heart palpitations; dry mouth; nausea. 
  • Tense muscles, dizziness
  • thinking about a problem over and over again and unable to stop (rumination)
  • Inability to concentrate; intensely or obsessively avoiding feared objects or places 


There are many types of anxiety disorders, including:

  • Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD)
  • Panic Disorder
  • Social Anxiety
  • Phobias
  • Health Anxiety
